I’m Josh, the maker behind J Combs & Co. I handcraft leather goods in Spokane, Washington, one piece at a time.

I started working with leather because I wanted to make useful things with my hands—things worth carrying for years. What began at my workbench in 2016 became J Combs & Co. in 2019.

What I Make

I make wallets, bags, and small leather goods from quality leathers, with an emphasis on function, careful construction, and restrained design. I want each piece to feel as comfortable in the office as it does out in the field.

My Approach

Good leather changes as you use it. Scratches soften, color deepens, and the piece becomes yours. I make goods meant to be carried daily, not kept perfect on a shelf.

This is a small shop. I’m the person making your piece from start to finish, and my mark on it is a maker’s signature.
